L’associazione europea Echamp prende posizione sulla situazione italiana

ECHAMP, l’associazione europea dei medicinali omeopatici e antroposofici, ha pubblicato la presa di posizione riguardo la situazione italiana per l’iter di registrazione dei medicinali omeopatici e antroposofici.

…”ECHAMP has serious concerns about this upcoming renewal process and believe that the timetable, fees and technical requirements are inappropriate and that AIFA’s resources will be insufficient to deal with these applications.

Countries such as France and Germany have needed more than 10 years to finalise the registration process, including submission, work on deficiency letters and final assessment.

ECHAMP fears that this timetable represents a major threat to its members operating in Italy, and to patients and prescribers who want access to these medicinal products. It could mean the end of availability of most of the medicines under official registration status in Italy. In view of the demand for these medicines by Italian patients, this shortage of availability will certainly lead to cross boarder import and the development of a grey market, which should and can be avoided….”
